Last Day of Kindergarten - 2014

Emma's last day of Kindergarten!! It fell 4 days after Memorial Day, so her last week of school was basically a waste that included lots of movies and games and parties. I guess after all their hard work through the year they deserve some FUN!

We had fun writing on the car windows and picking Emma up from school!!  Then we met her class at a splash pad for some last day of school FUN!

Grant insisted that he needed a special sign too!  Here's to preschool next year!!

The day after school got out we packed up the car and headed to Utah to meet Baby Laney!!

Cabin fun!!

We enjoyed a wonderful Memorial Day with the Shumway and Davis families. Too much food, not enough sleep and a WHOLE lotta fun in the outdoors. So nice to leave the heat of Phoenix and enjoy the cool, fresh, mountain air of the cabin.

Kindergarten Graduation and FUN.

WOW! Hard to believe that the Kindergarten year is over. I was really emotional about this year ending, because it has been absolutely perfect in every way. We just ADORE her teacher Mrs. Earnheart and she has made the cutest friends and I have made good friendships with a lot of the Moms. She has learned so much and she has matured a lot emotionally. Her reading has significantly improved and she is excelling in all aspects of learning. We are so proud of her and her hard work.

They did a darling Kindergarten graduation with lots of songs and speaking parts.  They made their t-shirts in class and Emma has been so excited to perform.

Grant enjoyed the show too because he has heard Emma singing the songs at home for the last few months!

Grammie Lou and Mike were there to support Emma and she was super happy!  Greg and I bought her the flowers.

Sunshine Singers

Grant and his cousin Tate participated in "Sunshine Singer" together Jan - May 2014. Linsey Maxson is the director. They caused a lot of trouble together during the rehearsals, but were so happy to see each other each week. It was a fun activity to do with Tate.

I'm not sure if Grant quite caught the performance concept.  He basically stood on stage the whole time with his shirt lifted up and in his mouth.  :/

Tate was on the other end of the stage and at one point was screaming across the stage, "GRANT! GRANT!!  GRANT!!!!  Hi Grant!!"  It was hysterical.
