Siblings gotta LOVE!

I feel so blessed that my kids get along so well. Now, before you think I lie, I will most readily admit that they don't ALWAYS get along great. They most certainly have their moments of bugging and hitting and fighting. But overall, they really do play well together and it warms my heart. Since there are only two of them (and probably only ever be two of them) they should learn to cherish each other from the start, right?

Our pal Krisha passed along this awesome kids table.  As soon as we put it in the backyard the kids had grabbed school papers and food to work on projects together and eat.  Emma usually comes up with the ideas and Grant very happily goes along with her plans.  She is pretty willing to bend a little to make sure to keep him happy, but he thinks his sister walks on water and is pretty content doing most of her ideas.

All cuddled up in bed together.  One of my favorites pics of these two cuties.
Just look at how they are holding hands.  Melts me.

Swimming at Sharron's.

Greg and Grant went to their FIRST Father's and Son's campout and had a BLAST.  Emma and I also thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!  Here she is after some splash pad fun with the Stayners.

Greg and Grant at the campout.  They "camped" at my Grandpa's cabin.  So it wasn't too bad for Greg.  He was in the Master bedroom and he and Grant got a great night of sleep.  Some of the men in tents were not so lucky.  haha.

Lots of the ward girls got together for a girls night at Geno's.  Then Emma and I got ice cream and rented a movie that we watched together.  In the morning we got donuts, went to the splash pad and then took Sharron to see the movie "Frozen".  It was a fun girls day!!

11th Anniversary

Greg and I had fun celebrating our 11th Anniversary - Phoenix style.

I surprised him and booked us a room at the Sheraton in downtown Phoenix, which is a hotel Greg has always wanted to stay in. We paid Jamie Gephart to come and stay with the kids, which was so nice of her and left me at ease to leave them for a day!

We went to see the new Spiderman Movie and ate a yummy dinner and then had ice cream!  The hotel was really nice and we were on the top floor with a fantastic view, which Greg LOVES.

We enjoyed a great breakfast on Saturday morning and went swimming in the hotel pool.  Then we had matinee tickets to see the show "Once" at Gammage.  SUCH A GREAT PLAY!!!!  We really really really loved the show!

It was a fun little getaway for about 24 hours!  Happy Anniversary to the love of my life!!  It always seems like I could not love him more and then I do.  He is a perfect match for me and it such a great husband and father.  I am so blessed to be his eternal companion!!

And while we are talking anniversaries, I snatched this picture from Facebook on Wayne and Sharron's wedding day.  Grandpa and Grandpa Wallin on the left and Grandma and Grandpa Krebs on the right. What a legacy!!

May Fun!

Some random pictures of our May FUN!!

I wish this picture turned out better… but the lighting from the window made it wash out. Anyway, we were playing hide and seek with the kids and Grant decided that he would hide under Greg's suit coat hanging on the back of the chair. haha. It was so cute to see his little feet sticking out from under the coat.

For Mother's Day we had the whole gang over to celebrate.  Wish we could have gotten a picture of everyone, but alas here are some of the few that attended.  We just ADORE Paul, Markie and Abbie.  Sure miss them now that they don't leave in our ward anymore. :(

Celebrating Mom's!  Linda, Markie, Abbie and Me!

Our finished cement patio!!  HOORAY!!!  So happy to have this finally finished!!  The kids just LOVE playing on it.

A fun play day with Easton!

Acting out "Frozen".  Emma in her Elsa wig and dress and necklace.  And then she created this costume for Grant to be Olaf in her white dress and cardigan and colored paper buttons and carrot nose.  I was pretty impressed with her creativity.  I didn't help at all.  Maybe she has a future in costume creation?? :)

YEAH!!!!  Jeff finally graduated from ASU!!!  SO PROUD OF HIM!!

Let's Play Music Recital

Emma is in a music theory/piano class called "Let's Play Music". It has been a positive experience and she has really enjoyed learning to play the piano. I'm glad that she is learning the basic of piano playing, even though her main instrument is violin. It will be helpful to her in so many ways!

She just finished her second year and had a recital to show off all of their skills!!

Cabin Day Trip on Easter Monday

Emma had the day off of school the Monday following Easter! It was a fun 4 day weekend with Good Friday before Easter! We decided to take a little road trip up to the cabin and had a fantastic time! The kids just LOVE playing around the cabin and I really enjoyed relaxing up there for just a day. Gave me a chance to inventory the cabin as well to make sure that everything is in place for our renters during the summer.

Oh that face!  That adorable face!  I could just eat him up!!!

Playing on the fort!

Skipping rocks at Patrick's Pond.

EASTER

We had a wonderful Easter this year.

As the kids get older, I try to really put an emphasis on the Christ portion of Easter, rather than the secular.  I found a great book that talks about the week leading up to Christ's crucifixion and resurrection and suggests activities and scriptures to read each day.  It was very valuable and informative.  We also got rid of the "Easter Bunny" once and for all.  Halelujah.  I have always thought the Easter Bunny was a little silly (and creepy).  So we told the kids that he may still come to other kids (because I don't want them ruining the magic for other kids).  But, in our household Mom and Dad would just bring a few trinkets for Easter celebration.  We also do the gift giving on Saturday morning so that we can focus on Christ on Easter Sunday.

Dying Easter Eggs.

Our Easter celebration with the Adams Family over at Linda's house.  She had cute little baskets for the kids and then hid eggs for them to find.  They had a wonderful time!!

These two little guys are such good friends and absolutely DARLING together!!

Emma was thrilled because she found an egg with money inside!!

The cousins!!
What a cute group of kiddos!

Easter morning was actually stake conference for us.  So it was a little different, but our meeting was outstanding!!

This was the best pic I got of the kids all dolled up.  That's what you get for having morning church and trying to do a big breakfast! :)

Emma and her violin Barbie and a whole lot of kids makeup smothered on! :)
This princess is most definitely a GIRL.
