Adams Cousin Fun!

We have had lots of good times with our Adams' cousins this week! A few of them live here and we get to play together on a regular basis, but Jamie (Greg's bro) and Gina came into town from Austin, Texas so we have RAMPED UP the play time and had a blast with all 5 cousins playing together.

Last Wednesday, Greg's parents invited the kids over for some water time and boy did they have fun! My only regret was that my big bootie wouldn't fit in the pool. It was WARM outside sans water for the adults.

Anna (bummer her eyes were closed) and Emma.

Grammie Lou keeping Kasyn and Isaac warm after they left the water area.

Last weekend Greg's parents were kind enough to sponsor a family trip to the Squaw Peak Hilton in Phoenix. It is such a fun resort because of the incredible water park facilities including a lazy river, multiple pools and a water slide. We stayed Friday and Saturday nights and had such a wonderful time together!

Here are the girls making necklaces around 10:30pm. When cousins are around, bed times kind of go out the window because it's all about maximizing the fun. Anna is 5, Taytum is 4 and then there is the tag-a-long Emma. Sometimes she can fit right into the mix, but other times she steals toys and hits - reminding the older girls and her parents that she is still a roaring toddler. Maybe when they are in their 20's or 30's they won't notice the age difference as much? :)

Emma and Isaac who is affectionately nicknamed "Blue" - not because of his disposition. Most darling, happy child EVER.

Here we are at dinner together. It started to rain during our dinner and only one of the three tables had an umbrella to cover. Oops. It wasn't a down pour, so we enjoyed the cooling effect and tried to eat our food before it got soggy.

Our birthday party for Issac. He turns 2 in September so we took advantage of all the family together to celebrate. The kids went to bed around 11pm and the adults stayed up well beyond that. Evidently we got a little too crazy because we had a visit from Mrs. Security Guard telling us to keep it down. Seriously felt like I was in High School again.

Because my SIL Gina is so amazingly thoughtful, Issac gave each of his cousins a bday gift for HIS bday. Emma scored a super hot purple dress-up outfit. This is the FIRST in her collection and she is pleased as punch.

Thanks to Ray and Linda for the wonderful weekend. They were so generous to pay for everything and allow us to spend the weekend together at the resort. Unfortunately, Ray's lung cancer has taken a nasty turn for the worse and he was not able to enjoy it as much as the rest of us. But, we loved having him there, nonetheless. Keep Ray and Linda in your prayers. The next few months could be especially difficult.

You're jealous of our family time in Greer and I get jealous of ANY time that you, Gred, Jamie and Gina get to be together, 'cause I'm SURE it's ridiculously hysterical. As evidenced by the security guard having to shoosh you yayhoos!

Love the pics of the kids all together. Can't believe how big they're all getting.

Glad you got to have this fun time together.

I'm so sorry about Ray. That has got to be so hard. Hang in there all! Prayers a comin!

Looks like a great way to beat the heat, though! Awesome in-laws you have.

Emma looks so adorable in that pretty outfit. We were able to stay at that resort in December, and we even swam. It's sooo nice.

Hi Tammy. I accessed this from Allyson's blog and I'm so glad I did! What a darling little girl. Didn't know you were expecting again! Congratulations! So sorry to hear about Ray! He's perservered through so much. I'm sure he's hung around to see all his beautiful grandbabies! Emma comes by her "funnies" naturally, for sure, but I loved her prayer about her nursery leaders obeying her! Smart little girl, too. Glad to know how life is going in the Tammy and Greg household. Love you kids!

Love that you had to share our "scolding" from the security guard. We did have WAY too much fun! We love you guys and can't wait for the next one!

Just have one question? "On what side of the mountain are the waffles?"

Yes, I am going to burn in HECK for that one! :)
