Our Hoppy Easter!

Happy Easter!

This year was full of wonderful festivities and it is so special to celebrate with children.

We had the Easter Bunny come on Saturday morning, which meant that we got to spend a lot of time playing with basket gifts.  Grant got an array of cars, which he was thrilled with.

The Easter Bunny hid eggs throughout our back yard and Emma had a great time searching and finding them all.  Grant was not interested in finding eggs.

Saturday morning we went to a friends' home for a huge Easter party in their large backyard.  The first search was for small children and Grant finally got into the searching for eggs mode.  Once he discovered there was chocolate inside, he was especially focused.

Here is Emma with her second load of Easter eggs.

Saturday we also colored Easter eggs.  Emma and Greg really love doing this!

Saturday afternoon we also had a party with Greg's extended Adams family.  His grandparents set up an egg hunt for all the great grandkids and Emma even found $20 in one her eggs!!  Don't worry, I kept it in my wallet for safe keeping and it may or may not have paid for her baby sitter that night.  :)  We then ate dinner over at Greg's Mom's with his brothers and families.  We had a nice time!

We had to be to church by 8:00am on Sunday morning... so needless to say... Easter pics had to happen AFTER church and both kids were tired and hungry.

Not our best Sunday Easter pictures.

Emma was really excited to help me make the rolls for Easter dinner.  She got all dressed up in her princess jewelry and we started rolling out the dough.

She even helped me cut out the crescent rolls and roll them up.  What an awesome (and cute) helper in the kitchen!!

Eating his Easter feast of cheerios and kiwi!  :)

At least he's happy about it.

We headed over to Aunt Sharron's home for our afternoon Easter dinner.  It was full of amazing food and great company.  Of course I didn't get enough pictures... but here are a few.

And yet another wonderful egg hunt for Emma.  She has been in heaven with all this candy searching!!  And we have more candy leftover than we did at Halloween!!

Hope your Easters were wonderful.  I am so grateful for my knowledge of the Savior and his life and more importantly his Atonement and Resurrection.  How blessed I am to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.

I need to make a resolution to take more pictures!! Yours are great and just remind me that I didn't take any when we dyed eggs. And I didn't take any of their egg hunt (although Porter had the video camera going). Emma's Easter dress is beautiful. And Grant looks so CUTE in that vest outfit. Love it.
