Cheering for Kentucky continued through General Conference weekend! And we had Courtney in town to help us in the cheering section!
Emma and I painted our nail and she made us rainbow loom bracelets to get in the spirit of the games!
On Saturday evening after an amazing Kentucky win (and the priesthood session) we celebrated by enjoying a yummy dinner at Liberty Market. One of the employees working was a huge Kentucky fan and upon seeing our shirts gave us 20% our dinner and gave us 2 free desserts! It pays to be a Kentucky fan!!
Emma's bracelet she made during conference. I could cry with pride in my little Wildcat!
Grant sitting in his "boat" as Emma practices her violin. Seen here with his BFF "Chomper" the T-rex.
Went on a fun hike with our neighbors, the Lawsons over Spring Break. It was beautiful weather and the kids were so happy that a horse came wandering down our trail!!
Grant is SUPER DUPER FAMOUS!!!!! He (and my hand) were featured in the Gilbert Parks and Rec book! I knew he would make it big someday. :)
The "before" picture of our backyard before they removed all the pesky rocks and laid cement! We have been wanting to do this for awhile and are so pleased with the outcome!! I'm sure in another post I have the "after" picture. Would be nice if I could get them together, huh? :)
Emma's fancy hair for school one day. Sometimes (very rarely) we have a few extra minutes to do fun hairstyles.
An amazing afternoon when BOTH children fell asleep for afternoon naps!! This seriously NEVER happens. I was chatting with a friend on the phone and looked over the couch to find Miss Princess asleep on the floor! Wow! She must have had a long day at school!!
Grant's first cross dressing. We were laughing so hard. But, I probably shouldn't encourage it. I think (I hope) it was Emma's idea for a laugh.
A darling facebook post from my Grandpa. I love that he is 90 years old and on Facebook. But, he doesn't quite get how the whole thing works, so we get really awesome posts like the one below. Love that wonderful man!! It was after Glen had posted a pic of he and his prom date. haha.
