Well ... maybe not a FISH, but does a BABY count? Our little Emma had her 6 month check up today and weighed in at a whopping 18 pounds 7 ounces and 27.5 inches. She is in the 90th percentile for height, weight and head. That's our girl!! Nobody can accuse our family of malnutrition or bulimia. I think all three of us are in the 90th percentile for height and weight. :)
These are her 6 month shots done by Portrait Innovations. I decided to use them as a "cheaper" option and left the store spending TOO much money on TOO many pictures. Honestly, it felt like I had just left an auto mechanic or used car lot where they take advantage of poor, unsuspecting young mothers, like myself. Dirty I tell ya' - DIRTY!
On a happier note, this HAM of a baby laughed and smiled the ENTIRE time! She tends to be ultra social and loves to have her picture taken. We are not sure where she gets her gregarious personality, as Greg and I are both so timid, quiet and shy. Maybe there was a mix-up in the infertility clinic? :)
This picture was taken right after a crying fit. I was actually trying to get photos of her crying, since we don't have many... but as soon as I pulled out the camera, she gave me this little grin.
As evidenced by her 18 pound weigh-in our little tubby tub is still LOVING the food thing and has now mastered carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes, rice cereal and oatmeal. Behind her are "just because" flowers given to me by my sweet husband. What a guy!! Just LOVE him!!These videos were requested by Grandma Krebs. Emma has recently started sitting up and my mom was sad that she missed it. The second video is a giggle fest one night right before her bath. Sorry they are both a little dark.

i love big babies!! i have the same problem as you. i always buy way too many pictures when i get their pictures taken. what's a mother to do - deny herself of seeing cute pictures of her kids? and, seriously, you and greg are so quiet and timid. emma must have learned it somewhere else!
I'm pretty sure I'm in the 90th percentile for my weight, too!
She's getting so big now--but she still does look like a baby, so at least you still have that!
Tammy, I'm sorry I'm the first person to tell you this, but you are NOT in the 90th percentile in height. On a kinder note, you also are not in the 90th percentile in weight. (maybe just the 89th :)) We loved seeing the pictures and videos and can't wait to see you guys in a couple days. Oh and by the way, the second video didn't work for me.
Oh those pictures are precious! Chubby babies ARE cute... although mine's a skinny one and is still cute... I love the chubby babies! And I LOVE her smile and I LOVE her hair. She is just too sweet. lucky you.

Oh, Tammy! What a cutie! From what you said in the video Ian and Emma have the log thing in common...sitting but no rolling! I couldn't help but laugh with her in the second. What contagious sounds of happiness!

Emma is so dang cute! I think there was a mix up at the clinic for you guys to have an outgoing child.
Trixxx... there was absolutely NO mix-up at that clinic. Let's take inventory:
1) Little bitty gorgeous blue squinty eyes - Holy Krebs genes
2) Facial structure - look at pictures from Greg at this age, she is IDENTICAL! They could be twins.
3) Loves the camera - Totally Grandma Bernie Foutz's Great Granddaughter. That woman is a CAMERA HOG!
4) "Greg"arious personality - okay, this is a misnomer. Shy little Greg should not create a drama queen... however, I am the uncle and we share some common blood there... And Trixxx did go to "High School Musical"... or it may be by association... Melanie could have influenced this....
5) Chubby - Skinny Greg and Skinny Tammy have no concept of 90th percentile.... but Uncle Jamie does 350th percentile. And so does all of her Hafer/Varnell ancestors.
She is Krebs/Adams through and throuogh! Although I'd argue she is a lot cuter than the two of you!

Ok seriously, how fun was that. Umm look out, as she is SIX months younger than Maggie, and oh so close to catching her in height and weight. What's up with that? How does Maggie have the two BIGGEST parents and be such a wee one? It's a mystery. In other news, you're so lucky she is such a little camera lover. How nice to have smiles and cuteness in pics. It's such a chore to get Maggie to cooperate and get any such "happy" pics. Fun for you!

I did the same thing at Portrait Innovations. Sean wasn't too happy...but they'll never be that age again. Happy B-day by the way! LOVE YOU TONS!!!
I got worked over to well on our first trip to get Connor's pics done...I haven't been back. How sad is that? I've been too afraid to risk all that money! :)
How precious! I'm sure we'll look back in 10 years and think every penny those portrait studios milked out of us was worth it! Aren't pictures just a priceless key to unlocking a memory (that sounds so cheesy but I'm not deleting it)?
That Emma is so much fun. You can climb stairs with your 18 lb. weight, for exercise. That's what we do. It's really nice when they start walking. You don't have to carry them as much.

Those cheeks are just perfect. I love how rosey they always are. I do have some suspicions about such a boisterous baby coming from the two of you. I mean, I've always known you to be pretty much mute and Greg NEVER makes an unsolicited peep. You guys will want to get that checked into. :)

So pretty much I love Emma. And, the chubby thing works for her. I always thought that if I could bottle Sydney's laugh that I could make big bucks. I think you could make even more with Emma's. Tell me when your ready to begin the business. Have your people call my people.
