That was THEN... This is NOW

My "thens" were wonderful then, but my "nows" are really great now.

Got a new jogging stroller off of Craigslist for 35 buckaroonies.

I love Craigslist and I LOVE my new stroller. I would not have chosen the color, but HEY when it's CHEAP, you can't be picky. My entire body does not cringe in pain now when I run.

Here is my garden in October 2008 and my garden now. The middle row is empty, because the vegetables have already been harvested and EATEN for dinner. We have enjoyed lettuce, carrots, peas and cilantro with our meals this week. YUM!! I'm now on my second round of produce, including cucumbers, squash and melons, which I am PUMPED about.

You long-time "Tammy Following" blog readers may remember that my diaper bag was stolen in February of 2008. Right out of my car. I was super bummed and disappointed in man kind. I bought the red bag to replace the stolen bag. Last week I got a post card from the police department saying they had found my "purse" and had it ready for me to pick-up. So I strolled down to the Police Department and claimed my old diaper bag. Stolen ONE YEAR ago. Most of the stuff was still inside. Seriously, what thief would want diapers, formula and wipes??

Finished my third concert of the season with Tempe Symphony and FINALLY remembered my camera. My sister snapped a few shots of the orchestra. The first pictures are from my High School orchestra. Can you even IMAGINE being forced into red bow ties? I much prefer the black... thank you very much. Our last concert is in April and I'm super sad. We won't play again until September. It sure is a fantastic experience!!

Fun post. I'm especially impressed with your garden, that is so great! Totally random about your diaper bag, glad you got it back though.

I can't believe that jogging stroller was only $35. Good deal. And I am completely envious of your garden. It looks amazing. We have never done a garden and I am always jealous when I see other people's. Maybe one day.

a fun glimpse into your life. red bow ties! seriously! for violinists, too. i suffered the same uniform in high school and it still makes me cringe. oh well, it's funnier to look back on than a bunch of pictures in concert black. better than having to wear the bowties now. =)
also, lovely garden--you've inspired me. thanks!

I'm so jealous of your jogging stroller.

And Tammy, I may or may not have photos of you that are as incriminating (or even moreso) as the red bow tie pics...think Freshman year at BYU. Priceless.

Very cool about the jogging stroller and getting your bag back. Are you only able to grow that stuff in winter because it is too hot in summer? I have to learn these things for when we move there. Still don't know exactly when that will be, waiting for dumb house to sell. Maybe we will be there in time to see your last performance, I can hope!

I've really gotta start using Craigslist. I can't believe I haven't gotten on that bandwagon before now. Plus, your garden is inspiring! Love it! We're supposed to be working on getting one built for ourselves now...hmmmmm...still hasn't happened! :) Fun post!
