Greg's cousin Markie got married last weekend and we enjoyed a VERY short trip to New Mexico to help celebrate. Unfortunately, we could not make the sealing, because of Greg's work, but we couldn't resist the wedding reception. Especially, with the temptation of his Aunt Tamie's AMAZING wedding cakes! Think we are crazy to travel 7 hours for a wedding cake? You haven't tasted Aunt Tamie's delectable wedding cake!!We left Saturday morning with Greg's brother Jeff and his new wife Michelle keeping Emma company in the back seat. Boy were we grateful for the company and the babysitting! Emma loved having them close. And I'm sure they LOVED watching "Signing Times" videos and having goldfish thrown into their laps. At least we know it was good birth control. :)
We had a wonderful time at the reception on Saturday night, and returned on Sunday. Lots of traveling in 2 days... but so fun to be with family. The Sherwood cousins are so fantastic!
Emma had another chance to ride the cousin's pony. She gave lots of nervous giggles and "nay's". But overall seemed to enjoy herself.
