The flaw.

Everyone has one.

I've got LOTS of them. But, my major flaw is I am Mrs. Bossy Pants.

Emma's flaw has been apparent since a very young age, as Ms. Bossy Pants Junior.

I still can't find Greg's. (Except sometimes he forgets to put in soap and start the dishwasher after doing the dishes. Which I would hardly call a flaw, because DANG... the dude does the dishes every night.)

I was starting to think that Grant would follow in his father's footsteps and grow up sans flaw. For the last 6 months he has been the most incredibly perfect baby.

But alas, I have finally found a flaw in precious Grant.

He is NOT a rice cereal eating SUPERSTAR.

He started off well. But, after a few bites it was spitting and bubbles and all things wretched.

The whole family joined in on the fun, to try and encourage excitement.

But. The little guy still dislikes it.

It's been a week of eating with not much progress.

We'll keep trying - because we all have to work through our flaws to become our best self.

... that, and he'll wither from starvation (and social ostracism) if he has to go to college drinking only formula.

All I can say is that all four of you are so photogenic!! I don't blame Grant for not liking that bland stuff!! He's waiting until you add some yummy fruit to it!

Rice cereal is terrible. Crew liked it when I mixed in apple juice or yogurt. But Tatum was my only baby who scarfed it down...and everything else around too! Your post was so cute and I love the pictures.

Oh phew. I was beginning to think you had a perfect baby and that just isn't fair. And I'm sure by the time he goes to college he will have graduated to hot pockets and pop tarts. The perfect dorm food. :)

That picture of Emma smiling while feeding Grant is priceless! And if you really want Grant to like his rice cereal...mix with lots of breast milk and brown sugar. Might do the trick. :) (Yeah Greg for being a dish-doer! he rocks!)

I'm with the other girls-add something good to it. I have actually NEVER done just plain cereal. apple sauce and mashed bananas are my favorite add ins. However, if you are of the veggies-first persuasion peas mash up well but need straining! Good luck!

Haha, love it! But, can you please tell Greg to talk to Pierce about being perfect? I mean, Pierce is an amazing husband, but doing the dishes once in a while would be nice. For some reason he has mistaken his wife for the house help. I was like, "Pierce, we're BOTH brown, that means we BOTH need to clean." ;D haha...Nice seeing you at church yesterday with my little stud, G-man!

Oh Tammy you are too funny! And I love how your all in on the excitement for him to like cereal, but seriously Tammy... have you tasted that crap? just smell it.. Grant is just WAY ahead of the game here, he knows if he eats that its gonna come out the other end smelling 10 times worse. Your actually really lucky you have a GENIOUS on your hands! I am just suprised Emma didn't pick up on how aweful that stuff is :)
haha, I sure miss you guys! And man... Greg needs to teach all husbands around dishes aren't just for the mommas. I am not even brown, but I do feel like the hired help! :) (love your browness Krisha)
