Lots of HOT summer fun being had here in Gilbert.... lots of pictures and so little time to post about them.

Grant LOVES doggie doors. He tried to get in the back door during a ward lunch at our neighbors. He couldn't open the door, but before I knew it I heard his little voice INSIDE the house somehow saying, "Mom. Help. Stuck." He has tried to crawl through the little dog door and got stuck under his armpits.
He loves taking selfie's on my phone. And they turn out adorable.
I helped the kids build a fort during a lazy Sunday afternoon. They had so much fun in there with flashlights and books and toys. When Greg got home from meetings he stuck his head in to say hello and before I knew it, the kids were running around the house and Greg was nowhere to be found. Poor guy fell asleep with only his head inside the fort. Guess that's what 7:30am church meetings can do for exhaustion.
When Spencer was visiting, Grant locked himself in his booster seat and ran around the house yelling, "I have a chair stuck to my bum bum." He was cracking himself up and ran around like this for at least 30 minutes.

In Arizona, you don't need towels to dry off after Mom sprays you with the hose. You just lay on the driveway and let it sizzle you dry.
Emma has had a Summer chore chart that has been working SUPER well. I stole the idea of points and earning privileges with these points from some friends... and Emma has responded really well. We will keep up this type of chart during the school year as well.

Oh my gosh, where do I start with this post. Greg falling asleep in the fort - totally laughed out loud. Emma likes to go to "Old McDonald's" and Greg wears his church to work. So many funny things in this post! You must be laughing your bum-bum off all the time with these comedians!
