Our FIRST ward campout!

Our very first ward campout!!!! We were so excited to finally be able to join our ward on a campout! Seems like they have always fallen on bad weekends in the past.

We had to borrow lots of camping equipment, because our version of camping usually means going to Grandpa's cabin. ;)

We had such a wonderful time. The kids were SOOOO excited to go! It was really cold at night and we ended up sleeping by the kids to keep them warm. We also had to borrow a heater for the tent to survive. But, everything was perfect otherwise and we enjoyed hanging out with the ward!

The tent we borrowed from Jeff and Michelle!  The lantern we brought burned a hole in it, so we bought Jeff and Michelle a new tent and kept this one for us.  haha.

Grant collected a bunch of rocks at the campout and insisted holding them in his lap on the way home.  After he fell asleep he still had them cradled in his lap.
