Kentucky scenery on the left and Arizona on the right. I don't believe this needs any explaining! I'm still trying to learn to appreciate the "beauty" of desert landscape.

Good times with family. Here I am with Sean and Amber (and baby Joshua) Marcum. Sean gave Emma a serious case of the giggles and it was hysterical. They were also kind enough to let us come over to their new and beautiful home to watch the second to last "LOST" episode. Oh man I am dying to see the season finale!! The writers better not disappoint or I'll send them on an Oceanic flight.

New clothes from the GAP Clearance Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. This place is the closest thing to the Celestial Kingdom I have ever (or will ever) be. Totally cheap clothes from Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic. Only one of its kind in the country. I went with Ashlee krebs, Amber Marcum and our respective babies. Right before we went in, we all three fed our little ones in the van, participating in what I like to call the "Breastfeeding Bonanza". What can get crazier than three partially topless mamas? :) You know you're a redneck if...

Cousin time! Emma and Tyler are 3 weeks apart. They kept smiling at each other. CUTE!

Man do I miss the rain! Here is Ben (Jeff & Ashlee's son) playing outside during a rainstorm. Kentucky did not disappoint and provided 3-4 great storms while I was there.

Uncle Glen was kind enough to let Emma and I crash in his room while we visited. We had lots of fun slumber parties. Glen (age 12) also rocked the house on multiple games of "Taboo", where he was giving better clues than any of the adults playing.

Time with Grandma and Grandpa. Failed to get a pic with Emma and my Mom... but I just love this one with she and my Dad. We sure had a great time visiting and can't wait to go back in August for Matt and Corinda's baby blessing!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR HOME TOWN?

Love the pictures!!! We miss you already but we are so happy that you came out!
Oh, Kentucky! I do miss the lush green everywhere. It sounds like you had an awesome trip! I remember the GAP outlet :)
So great! I missed you guys. We leave tomorrow but I will come by and play when I get back.
love you!
JJ
Wow, Kentucky looks beautiful. And to get some great thunderstorms there would be so cool! My favorite though is definitely the clearance gap. It's almost worth the flight out there to get the clothes for cheaper :)
Can't wait for lost either. . . We should have a finale party! I love the picture of your dad and Emma, her smile is adorable in that pic!
Welcome Home :)
looks like a great trip. I'm sure it's so fun to go home to a place that is so green and full of beautiful homes and horse pastures and leave those ugly cacti!!
The ONLY thing I LOVE about my Home Town is y'all and the rest of my immediate family and a our friends. I don't miss the heat, the dust, the crime, the cactus, the "brown", etc. Austin is not Kentucky (admittedly it is much prettier there...) but we are glad to be somewhere in between Heaven and Hell!
With that being said, we sure to miss you guys and we would consider living in Hell if we could be there with y'all! I keep trying but no one West of Amarillo wants me... oh well... we'll keep trying.
XOXOXOXO
hey Tammy, love the pictures...The Gap Clearance center is actually in Hebron, KY not Ohio. Just wanted to clarify that...
Take care, Paul V.
i can never get over those cheeks! adorable emma.
i'm with you on the desert beauty thing--sure i love to visit desert places, and can appreciate their beauty for a short time, but then i get distracted by how dry my skin feels and how hot it can get. i love the mountains in my hometown of slc--they're so close and beautiful. i miss that. in our new place, i love the trees and the water--the lakes, the sound--it's gorgeous here. hope you can find more days like the pictures greg posted!
Yes!! I have arrived...I made it to the Greg and Tammy blog site. :) he he. We just need to see each other more so we can have more pics together. I also love that pic...I'm behind the couch and look skinny! :) Ah-baby. I am also absolutely in love with KY...and coming from Vegas, I do love the desert sunsets, but can't get over the greenry (and the fact that NO ONE has sprinklers! HA!) It's gorgeous! Even with the hillbillies. :)
First off, Emma is so adorable! Yes, she does have a crazy tufted of hair atop her head. But she makes it look good.
So fun to have your kids with cousins and their future friends.
Funny thing about hometown states is when I think of Arizona, I think of the mountains and plains up north because that's where I grow up. But I agree that Kentucky is a beautiful state and much better weather.
