I am WOMAN hear me ROAR!

Once upon a time their was a toilet handle that was always STUCK. Because the handle was always stuck, the toilet water RAN and RAN and RAN... driving the princess of the castle crazy.

One day this princess had ENOUGH of the constantly running water and decided to take castle maintenance into her own hands. While trying to SIMPLY replace the toilet handle, she chipped a little too hard at the calcium build-up and cracked the toilet tank in half. "OOPS!", said the princess.
Being a tad bored that week with all of the kingdom's monotonous tasks, the princess decided that she was up for the CHALLENGE of fixing the entire tank of the toilet. The prince replied, "Are you SURE?", to which the princess responded, "How hard could it be?".
After paying 2 chickens and a cow for a new toilet tank at Castle Depot, the princess set off for the task. Only a FEW swear words later, the princess had indeed taken off the old toilet tank with all of it's EXCESSIVELY rusty nuts and bolts - and replaced it with a brand new toilet tank with EXCESSIVELY clean nuts and bolts (and a working lever that doesn't leak water!).
"Hooray for the princess!!", cried the kingdom.
MORAL of the STORY: Their is NOTHING a princess can not achieve with a Diet Coke.
WHAT THE? How did an incredibly cute video of Emma with my water bottle sneak into this post all about ME, ME, ME? Selfish little lady, isn't she?

Amen Princesses can achieve anything, especially with a coke. Good work fixing the toilet tank. I don't know that this Princess would have been willing to try.

I am very impressed that you fixed the toilet. I would have not even attempted it.

Love the video. Too cute!

What a talented princess! :) This princess does very well at picking up the phone and dialing the apartment complex maintenance guys to come make repairs...

Emma is a doll! I love her cute little pouts. :)

Very clever! You are much more of a woman than me. I wait for Troy to do all that stuff. I'd be in serious trouble if anything ever happened to him!

Trixx... of course all of the comments focus on you and your advanced "maintenance" skills. Everyone failed to notice that you were cruelly taking candy from the baby! The mean things we will do to our children for a great photo or video opp.

We are very proud of your pottie skills. Where was the prince in all of this? Oh, yeah, lawyers just call for the plumber!

Looks to me like someone might be teething or something. In other comments, you go with your bad toilet fixing self! I'm tres impressed! Once upon a time, I put in a new light fixture, it doesn feel good to be handy. haha

We could've used you around here last week when we had a similar toilet issue (broken tank). I'll keep you in mind for next time.

Emma sure was going after that water bottle. Do you tip it in honey or something?

Good job princess Adams. I would feel a little overwhelmed by that task. That cutie pie seems like she's teething or something. She was going to town on that H2O bottle.

I will have all other commenters know that this story qualifies Tammy the princess as SEXY. I was reading Self magazine last week and some guy's article about the top ten SEXIEST things a woman can do include: being self-sufficient, and doing things like fixing your own toilet!! Yahhhh you go girl. And I love your countdown to Hawaii, so fun to look forward to!

Okay, I have to say I am ridiculously impressed BECAUSE I had something similar happen to me. Running toilet due to handle. I lifted the lid one day to fix it and accidentally dropped the lid into the tank, thus shattering the tank..water EVERYWHERE!!! I ran screaming, "SHANE HELP!!!" He used his brute strength to turn the water off and then spent the next 2 days fixing our toilet (also with the help of castle depot). We had some extra complications due to living in a place built in the time of King Arthur, but I told Shane over and over again, "I don't know what I would have done without you." Apparently though, you don't need no stinkin' man. You go girl, I mean woman.

Wow, I missed a few posts here. The toilet is very impressive. I've seen what happens when you let the prince fix stuff. It sort of takes forever. So good work just getting on in there and taking care of business. It was so great to see you this week and spend a little time with all of you! I love Emma's worth the wait t-shirt! SO TRUE...I love you guys (but not actually greg because he's a guy and well..you know...)

Seriously Tam, you are my HERO! And we could so use your toilet skills at our new house. I also wanted to let you know that I would share my water bottle with you. Selfish, selfish child. :)
