...a few feet away from Plymouth Rock... on my kitchen table. Found these bad boys at "Big Lots" for $6 each. Not to bad for wooden pilgrim replicas missing their mouths!?! Greg insists that pilgrims without mouths are essentially the antithesis of pilgrims. After all, says Greg, we really only associate the pilgrims with one thing - EATING. Would they have marked their place in history if they indeed existed without mouths? hmmm... ??

In more seasonally related fun... we had some friends over for a FALL FEAST on Saturday evening and had a great time. We had so much fun, that this was the ONLY picture I took all night. Thanks to the beautiful Arizona weather, we ate our bread bowls and soup outside. In the thankful spirit of things, may I just say how thankful we are for wonderfully entertaining friends? Thanks pals, for keeping us sane and laughing!

Also thankful for FREE STUFF!!
IKEA celebrated their 4
th anniversary in Phoenix, by offering FREE gifts to the first 100 shoppers in line. My girlfriend and I got there at 8:30 this morning and at 10:00am each received a $25 gift card to
IKEA and Free Breakfast. Go Team Go!

Emma was so exhausted from all the "FREE STUFF FUN"... that she fell asleep in her high chair finishing up her lunch. I happened to have the camera nearby and miraculously caught this HILARITY on video. The first few seconds are a little slow, but it gets pretty funny toward the end. We just LOVE our little angel.

You are blessed not only with a wonderful family but wonderful dear friends as well! Lots to be thankful for indeed! I do like your Big Lot finds! Emma is so cute-awake or asleep!
Ahhhh so super cute, ask Trent- I do that little head-bobbin' all the time. But add on a little string of drool coming out of my mouth.
Trent's mom gave us a bunch of holiday decorating items for Easter this year and I got a couple of those Pilgrims too! I didn't realize they don't have mouths...
Oh, you guys are just mean! Poor little thing. It was very funny though. Does she always make noises like that when she's falling asleep? I do.
Love the video! Too funny. I love the little noises that she is making through out the whole thing.
She must love food, she was trying to hard to stay awake.
This reminds me of the video Dad taped of Matt and I fighting. Instead of breaking up the fight he made sure to get it on film. Instead of putting your daughter in bed, you decide to let her fall asleep sitting up. Like father like daughter!
It's fun to see your posts and how Emma is growing! Re the pilgrims: a few years ago I saw them at a store and loved them, but waited to get them and then I couldn't find them anywhere! I finally called the company to see where they were distributed and got them through some floral shop (for my mom, though, not for me!). So you should feel like you REALLY got a great deal--you got a good price and didn't have to search for them! Even though they don't have mouths.
No teeth for them means more food for you! Nice buy! And I loved watching Emma fall asleep. She is so cute that I almost felt bad laughing at her head toppling over. What a beauty!
That video is too cute! I got sleepy just watching it. I love her little sounds that she makes as she's falling asleep. Yay for an Ikea gift card- awesome!
That is too funny. Poor kid, just trying to sleep, and her wicked parents are filming her. Sounds like something we would do. :)
OK, THAT is why a mom must ALWAYS have a camera on hand. I can't believe how fast she's growing. Your little sleepy head is so cute.
If only they went so peacefully everytime:) And did she get a haircut?
So sweet. :) I wish I had that little trouble falling asleep!
Emma is getting so big! She is adorable and that fall feast looked like a lot of fun!
I think that lil Emma is acquiring the same sleeping skills that are in my family... SO CUTE!!
