We enjoyed a wonderful Easter Sunday, the weather here in Arizona could not have been prettier. It was GORGEOUS!! The Easter Bunny brought Emma a breathing treatment. :) She had a slight lung infection caused by allergies and the doctor prescribed a lovely breathing treatment four times a day. Lucky for us, she sits through them like a CHAMP. But doesn't she look so pathetic with it on?

Here she is ready for church. I got the dress at "Kid to Kid" for $5.00 - you can't beat that!
Ummmm. No. Alright? We didn't get her an Easter basket. But this was the Easter basket I used as decoration for our entertainment center. And we used it for picture purposes. She is still too young to understand the whole basket thing, so I saved a couple bucks and left it out. I know, I know... I'll be shunned from all Mother Extraordinaire Clubs FOREVER.

We enjoyed an AMAZING Easter dinner with my Aunt Sharron, her children, my sister and
JJ. We also enjoyed a second YUMMY Easter dinner with Greg's family. The kids got to search for Easter eggs and had a blast. In typical Emma style, she wandered around the yard saying, "ball, ball, ball, ball, ball...."

And yes, out little Easter angel is FINALLY walking. She turned 15 months on Saturday. She took her first steps in New Mexico when we were there for Greg's Grandma's funeral... since then, she has been slowly gaining confidence and momentum. Last Wednesday she really started to take off and has been fairly consistent ever since. And her poor forehead has showed the battle wounds of her first independent walking stunts. Her first major crash was onto the corner of a brick curb at my Aunt's home. She still has the goose egg from that one.

Greg and I generally get each other "token" Easter basket gifts. Small, but fun to have a little extra something. This year, I asked him if we could combine our gifts into one picture of the Savior for our wall. We found this one at Seagull Book and I am very pleased with it. It is of the Savior calming the waters and is entitled "Peace, Be Still". I really like that it is of Him performing a miracle and I love the artwork. So.... Happy Easter to us!

Here is a video of Emma walking. Slow and Steady wins the race! :)

hooray for emma! the war wounds are sad, but it's so fun to watch them learn.
maybe we can start our own motherhood club--grey used a sand castle bucket for easter this year. because i'm a minimalist, and like to keep things simple for as long as i can...
hope emma's infection clears up soon--what a champ she is indeed! that's a bummer about her allergies. we can relate only on a small scale.
The fish face (what the nebulizer is called in our house) is loved by everyone over here.
Too bad that medicine costs so dang much.
I'll join you in being shunned by the Mother Extraordinaire clubs. Anna didn't have a "real" Easter basket until this year, and it was a $1 sand-pail thing from the dollar section at Michaels.
I love Emma's dress--she looks so cute! I love shopping at Kid-to-Kid and finding great deals too. Cute dress, and the $5 pricetag makes it look even better in my eyes.
So sad about the nebulizer--those things are the worst. You're lucky she'll sit through it. That picture you bought is beautiful! What a fun idea. And of course, I love the video of Emma walking--what a champ!
Ian didn't utilize his walking skills much till he figured out how to get up without something to pull up on-so even if it has taken a bit to start, it looks like she has all the necessary skills! Watch out world!!
I love that first walking stage, even though it is hard to see them eat it. SO CUTE!
Walking?? What the heck?? And she looks so grown up all of a sudden!! What gives? Don't you love us anymore? How can our kids get married if they don't even see each other during the formative toddler years? Call me!
OH she is SO cute!!! I love the video of her walking. She just make you want to pick her up and snuggle her! :) Also, I LOVE her Easter dress. Kid to Kid is the best place in the world!! :)
Walking!!! Her and Ty will be all over the place next week! Can't wait!
They will have matching bruises too. Poor thing!
I too love the dress and Kid to Kid.
Good Eye Tam!
Her eyes are so blue! I love them. Her Easter finery is adorable on her too. :)
Walking!! A little jealous! Makenzie isn't even there. She's still a little timid into standing on her own still. She's 14 months! Congrats to Emma. Maybe we should get the two of them together and Emma can show her some moves :)
That dress is adorable! Her eyes are so gorgeous! Yeah for first steps!
Looks like Emma had a fun Easter. And don't feel bad about not getting an Easter basket. Ethan is almost 4 and Brent is almost 2 and they shared an Easter basket that I bought in college. They don't really care, as long as they find the eggs with the candy in it. Congrats to Emma on walking. I'm sure there will be many more bruises to come.
She is so cute, I love the dress. WATCH OUT! SHE'S WALKING! Be grateful she waited til 15 months. I'm praying for that for my 2nd. :) I LOVE LOVE your new picture.
I love Kid to Kid as well! Way to go on walking. Now you can get lots of exercise chasing her around. So cute!
awwww sweet sweet emma... I love her toddling!! You go girl~
Is it wrong that I have an overwhelming urge to just squeeze the heck out of Emma's cheeks? Oh, she is just impossibly cute. Good work, Tam. You should be proud.
That little breathing treatment picture scared me though. The title of the blog was "angel" and then she's hooked up to tubes. Stop frightening me. You know how I get myself all worked up!
