The Lake - Ogden Style

We had a fun family reunion up in Utah at the end of August to celebrate the marriage of John and Lucy!! I have separated the posts by day because there were just too many things to capture through the whole week. I made notes of the week and will post them along with the pictures, so that I can remember some of the fun stories and moments that created this week.

Tuesday - Drove 12 hours with grandpa and the kids, arrived at Laura's house, Celebrated Emily's birthday, everyone babysitting baby Ethan because he flew down from Oregon with Chuck and Em, Brenner and dad's friend from high school came to visit, Spencers panda bear scared Grant to death, crammed 14 people into Tom and Laura's house to sleep.

Wednesday - Got up, Laura made us shakes with her new blend tech blender, met Tom at Arby's to celebrate his birthday, went shopping at target with Emily, headed up to Ogden, Met up with Matt and Jeff family and played for the afternoon, went to the lake in Ogden Canyon for the evening from 4 to 8 PM, Most of the adult skied and the kids had a great time playing in the sand and swimming in the lake, Emma got her first bee sting, we had a picnic dinner and came home, the kids were in bed in 20 minutes because they were all exhausted, Celebrated Tom's birthday with cake and ice cream and "adult time" - which is our favorite part of the day because we are sans children, picked up Greg at the airport at 11 PM, came home and we talked to dad on the back porch until 1 AM.

Emma was scared to go on the raft, but when Aliya and Joseph hopped on she could not be shown up!
