First Birthday Party

We had a marvelous first birthday party with our little birthday girl. We celebrated the party yesterday, since we had lots of church stuff going on today. Burnt out from Christmas, this Mom decided to celebrate at Cafe Rio with a very small group of family/friends to keep it simple and budget friendly.

She loved the overdose on sugar.

We had such a great time with Greg's family.

And are glad JJ, Sharron and Laura could also join us!

Emma playing with all of her new toys! Boy was she spoiled!

Taking a leisure walk in Kiwanis Park with Dad today. What a birthday treat. Couldn't be happier.

Here is a video of the "first" cake binging... there are some cute dance moves toward the very end.

Oh my goodness!!! That was one of the cutest things I've ever seen. What a doll baby you guys have. Her dance moves are awesome too. I think my favorite was the hug she gave her cake in the beginning. Looks like a great 1st birthday!

Happy Birthday to Emma! I can't wait for Nicholas' first cake. I love the dance moves. And I'm really jealous of the walk. It's about 10 degrees here and there's been snow on the ground for almost 2 weeks. Ugh.
