My sweet Grandpa turned 85 last Friday and by his energy level you'd thing he just turned 25! I am so grateful to have him as my Grandpa. He is always active, trying new things, cracking a joke, taking care of my Grandma, and helping others. He is truly a mighty man with a humble heart and I am blessed to call him Grandpa. The way he's going, he'll be around for his 100th! Grandpa is pictured here with 5 of his great-grandkids. How lucky they are to have him around!

On other Hancock news, we had a baby shower at Mimi's cafe for my cousin Ryan's wife, Jaida. My type of baby shower! No cooking and no clean-up! :) I spent 30 minutes on Friday evening looking at their nutritional facts to locate SOMETHING on the menu that I could eat on my diet. I won't point fingers, but a certain breakfast item (that I LOVE and have eaten SEVERAL times) has a whopping 74 grams of fat. It really helps me to look up the nutritional information BEFORE I go, so that I am not tempted by my hunger and cravings. It's also shocking to see what some of my favorite foods actually contain in calories and fat. And I wonder where my double chin came from? :)

Wanna hear something gross? Do ya? Do ya? This little angel climbed into my shower this morning, grabbed some of the hair that was stuck to the drain and promptly put it ALL in her MOUTH. I was seriously dry heaving. How gross is that?

Tammy, you have made my lunch taste not so good. Thanks! Funny how such cute little things can do such gross little things.
I didn't just dry heave, I full on vomited. You have just shared one of my greatest fears. I am fully and utterly grossed out, afraid of and sicked out by anything and everything hair. Did you wash her mouth out with bleach? Did you call 911? I need to know, she might DIE! Thanks for sharing your "disgusting" story. Oh, and good for you for looking at nutritional facts before hand, smart move. Depressing, but smart!
I think I just threw up in my mouth! I'm curious what you ended up eating. Let me know what you are going to eat at Kona Grill.:)
OH MY!!! I think I LOL and threw up all at the same time! Don't EVER let that happen again!! :)HA I HATE hair and drain hair is THE WORST! It is always a HUGE accomplishment if I am able to clean out the tub drain by myself and not gag!
Hahaha! That's disgusting but hilarious ;)
At least it wasn't something in the toilet! I am sure we all did stuff like that and we turned out semi-normal or at least that's what the voices in our head tell us.
OH OH OH OH OH That was just not OK to share!!! Sick! I was OK with the whole post up until the end...wow. I have such a disgusting phobia to hair, and esp. hair that has been removed from the body and been left in the drain. SICK! Poor girl. On another note, I loved the rest of the post! :)
