The boy sits and grabs.

Our little guy is growing up WAY TOO FAST.

He'll be 8 months on Friday. Holy Cow. 8 months????

In any case, he continues to be an absolute delight and the happiest ray of sunshine.

Our kids are always a little slow in the "gross motor" arena. I'd like to pretend like I don't notice. But, it's pretty obvious. I'd also like to pretend like I have NO IDEA why this happens. But, that's also pretty obvious...

Greg and I are also a little slow in the gross motor arena. ***NEWSFLASH*** We are not your most coordinated, sporty couple on the block. :)

ANYWHO. Grant has finally started sitting up on his own this week. As in, I can leave him sitting up on the rug and run to the bathroom without worrying about him falling. He still has crashes... but those are minimizing.

And in additional slow gross motor skills - Grant is still a uni-directional roller. He can roll from his back to his belly - but then gets SUPER frustrated because he can not FOR THE LIFE OF HIM figure out how to get from his belly to his back.

Grant has also turned into a master grabber these past few weeks. I mean, serious grabbing. Like reach, yank and destroy any item in his path. He has dumped two huge bowls of carrots all over himself just this week. UGH.

And just like his sister, Grant is a sleep pro. He'll generally sleep 12-14 hours at night and will do two solid naps of a few hours during the day. He is LOVING his pureed foods and has not refused anything so far. Good little boy.

Our sweet, happy, content little man. How we love him.

He really is SO adorable.
BTW, I love your grandma's name. I used to work in a nursing home, and we had a Twila... she was adorable also. :)
