Laboring Away.

Wowee. Is it the middle of September already?

After my Grandma Hancock passed away, my lovely and generous Mother stayed an extra 2 weeks to help my Grandpa clean out his Mesa home and his cabin. She also wanted to be with him through his post-funeral transition into his new life. Total, she was in Arizona almost 5 weeks. A sacrifice for her (and for my Dad and brother) - but she knew that it was where she needed to be - and we were THRILLED to have her in Arizona that long!

When she mentioned that she was going up to the cabin for a week, we couldn't help but tag along. How could I possibly pass up on a nice long trip up to the gorgeous weather and beautiful cabin? I couldn't.

I left Thursday after Emma's preschool, and Greg joined us on Saturday afternoon due to work responsibilities. We all went back on the evening of Labor Day (Monday).

Took a day jaunt to Willow Springs Lake. Along with 2.6 million other Phoenicians trying to escape the heat. I tried to cut them all out of my picture, but believe you me, people were EVERYWHERE.

Oh how we love thee, dear cabin.

I hate it when other people copy my ideas. And I really hate it when a lot of other people copy my ideas.
