Bridal Showered that is.
It was so fun to plan and prepare for Laura's bridal shower! When you only have one sister, you've only got one chance to make this party a SMASHING success.

Had some technical difficulties transferring Laura and Tom's newlywed video to a burned DVD, but after 6 hours of attempting (and mumbling a few swear words under my breath), I figured it out. They answered questions about each other and their relationship and we played it at the shower.

Laura with Tom's Grandma Bay and his cousin Whitney.

We served crepes filled with all kinds of wonderful wonderfulness. Half of the table was fruit fillings and half of the table was eggs/sausage/bacon/cheese. It was all super yummy and I am very grateful to those that helped with all of the preparations.

Laura got lots of fun gifts! Those inappropriate for young eyes, were left off the blog. But, they sure were pretty. :)

The best gift of all was the ever-coveted wedding quilt from our talented Aunt Sharron. Her gorgeous quilts are the motivating force behind getting married in our family. :) Laura's amazing quilt was NO EXCEPTION. Just stunning. And all stitched by hand.

Topped it all off with a scrumptious chocolate cake from Costco.

I am so happy for Laura and Tom and was so happy to plan a fun shower to help celebrate!!
Then I promptly came home and took a 3 hour nap.
PHEW.
