Grant's 3rd Birthday

Grant turned 3 on January 2nd!! I can't believe that my baby is THREE!!! He was so excited for his birthday to come. But if we would ask, "is your birthday today"? He would reply with, "is YOUR birthday today"? haha. He loves to take our questions and turn them around. What a delight he is to have in our family.

Celebrated at Peter Piper pizza with our family.  The kids had a great time!

Dear Grant,

What a sweet little boy you are.  Your precious smile and dimples lighten each and every day.  It warms my heart to see how much you adore your sister.  You do everything that she wants you to do and would give anything to play with her around the clock.  You really hate when she leaves for school and constantly look forward to when she gets home.  You can play for HOURS on end with cars, trucks, trains, plans and sand.  You entertain yourself and can be content all alone with your thoughts and your toys.  Your favorite shows right now are Dinosaur Train, Jake and The Neverland Pirates, and Super Why!  You can turn into a different child (whiny, mean, grouchy) when you are hungry.  But, it is impossible to get you to eat!  You will only eat if you are super hungry, but if I wait that long your  behavior is difficult.  You love to DRINK anything that is in front of you - so if you could drink all of your necessary calories you would be a happy boy!  You do not sleep as much as your sister does, but you do sleep well.  You love your big boy bed and will sometimes wake up and sneak into bed with your sister.  

We LOVE you so much and are SO grateful that you are in our family.  You make each day brighter and happier and full of love.
