Lots of fun moments this week. Here are my top five faves...
#1 - Emma's new Art Class through the City of Tempe. We go once a week for a month and it costs a WHOPPING $5. Not having to get my house messy with projects is worth 10 times that amount... but don't tell the City of Tempe. $5 is just fine.

#2 - Watching Greg and Emma share a carton of "Samoa Girl Scout Cookie" Ice Cream. When Emma and I purchased the ice cream at the store, I told Emma it was for Daddy because it was his favorite. She was SO excited when he walked in the door from work and ran straight to the freezer to show him his surprise. Of course, her altruism was questioned when she quickly ran to the spoon drawer and grabbed a spoon for herself to indulge.

#3 - I run on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 6:15am - 3 miles - with my girlfriend Bonnie. When we awoke Thursday morning it was raining. Going back to bed was BLISS.

#4 - My
ROCKIN' good deals at Fry's this week. Thank you Mr. Coupon. I purchased all of this food for EIGHT DOLLARS. And two of those dollars were the bananas... so the rest of the food cost me SIX. My receipt said I saved SIXTY FOUR. Nice work Tam
Bam. Sometimes coupon cutting is actually worth it's inconvenience.

#5 - Finishing "The Hunger Games" in two days... and then passing it onto Greg who also finished it in two days. I read a lot, but there are not many books that capture my attention enough to skip out on cleaning, parenting, and other such activities. This book was a little gory and gave me some
WACKED out dreams, but man was it good. Greg and I are now fighting over who gets to read the sequel first. I just love a good book.

And a special thank you to all you wonderful blogging buddies who left kind, supportive words regarding our upcoming IVF procedure. It really lifted my spirits of hope and encouragement. I'll probably refer to them often. Thank you.

Loved Loved Loved The Hunger Games... I was thankful I had it in my bag when I spent 12 hours in the hospital with Davis last week-end. Catching Fire is good too, almost done, and had a busy week... made time to read!
Seriously...I need someone to show me how that coupon thingy works. I would love to save up some money so that we could go back and do IVF as well.
Yup, I'm still tuning into your blog because it's funny and witty and cute with a cherry on top. Good luck on your IVF procedure! (Procedures? I'm not sure how it all works. I'm going to click on the links you provided after I type this.) You will be in many of our prayers and have extra positive thoughts sent your way. Here's to more babies!
Nice deals, but they have to pay me to eat that flavored cardboard! Ben liked seeing pictures of Emma eating ice cream. Although it made him pretty jealous.
Hey!!! Did you guys know that Trent's favorite ice cream is Samoa too!? When that special limited edition time comes up, he is beyond excited. mmmm so yummy. And Tammy way to go for keeping up with the coupons and running! how DO you do it all...
I have like 10 comments to make about this. 1. Don't sabotage Greg's biggest loser competition by buying naughty things like that! :) 2. I am still the most retarded person ever when it comes to couponing and can NOT for my life figure out how people do amazing things like that. I bow down to you and your $8 purchase. 3. Hunger Games. Read it. Loved it. Also had several crazy dreams about it. Shane and I are reading the sequel together right now. Loving it! 4. Your last post was awesome and I appreciated your bravery and honesty in sharing. I told Shane it was brave of you to post that and he didn't understand why, so I had to explain (men!). I am certain there are no better parents than you and Greg and know you will be blessed with whatever Heavenly Father feels is best for you guys. I actually have a lot of questions about this stuff now and may want to talk to you some more. Thanks again for sharing. Okay, I guess I only had 4 things to say, not 10, but whatever.
Oh, I did have one more thing. Running in the rain...you should have gone! It's so fun to run in the rain. :)
so fun to peek into your lives via this bloggety blog. you are nice to indulge greg (and emma) in some delicious samoa ice cream. my hubs is also an ice cream fiend.
me, not so much. sorbet, please.
i agree: yay for mr. coupon! i'm not so great at it, but a couple bucks is a couple bucks.
i have yet to read hunger games but it's next on my list. i hope it lives up to all the expectations i have for it after having heard such great reviews from fellow readers.
and my thoughts and prayers are with you as you head into your ivf adventure. :)
